Snorkelling


There are a number of different places students can snorkel at Port Noarlunga and the choice is determined by the weather, the tides and the students' ability. On calm days or with some experience students can snorkel next to the reef at the end of the jetty. Students snorkelling underwater

Students who wish to experience a challenge and who have the ability can snorkel on the ocean side of the reef. Students who need to take things a little more slowly can start by snorkelling from the beach to the mini reef. Most snorkellers are amazed at the variety of fish and other sea creatures that can be seen on every dive.

Students of all swimming abilities can enjoy snorkelling.  Those students who are not good swimmers can wear a personal floatation device to give them the buoyancy and confidence they need. There is always a rubber dinghy near the snorkelling groups with the driver keeping an eye on the swimmers.  The driver is also able to help out if required. Group of snorkellers
